Forever Stamps 2008 Liberty Bell – Patriotic Symbol, First-Class Postage

Rung in 1776 to announce the reading of the Declaration of Independence, the Liberty Bell is a national symbol of freedom. Every July 4th, descendants of the signers of the Declaration gather at Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to symbolically tap the bell 13 times, to represent the 13 original colonies.
